2. A Smile and a Prayer

Smile... a simple word, isn't it?
A simple word, and also a simple something.

A sincere smile is priceless.
It is a treasure that you don't need to find.

Once, while I was lying on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling,
a thought went inside my head.

"If I can't afford to give people a gift,
why not give them a smile?
A single, sincere smile is a real treasure."

So yeah, this Christmas,
I'll give a smile to the people,
for whom I cannot afford to buy a gift.
But with the smile I'll give is prayer.

1. When?

Escape reality? Impossible, I know. But what more can I think of?
I want to live in fantasy... in my fantasies.

What can I do to make my fantasy become reality?

So many obstacles, so many hindrances.
When will they stop?

Where are they who are supposed to be my friends?
Where are they now?

When... When will all my dreams and wishes come true?
When?

Patience, they say.
I just need to be patient.
I must work hard, to achieve my fantasies.
And the day will come,
when all of my dreams will come true.

So I ask the Lord,
to give me patience and perseverance.
And to help me overcome,
all obstacles that are yet to come.

"Lord, I'll be waiting."

You will see, someday, my fantasy will be my reality.
